Smitty's was started on March 6, 1956 by Paul & Ethel Smith, it has been a stable location for Hampton locals to find great food at a great price. The drive-in has always had car hops servicing their drive in customers, it is a well known spot that the locals use to impress their visitors from out of town, there are people that used to live in the area and when a friend passes thru they will have them bring back food for them!! The City of Hampton has designated Smitty's Better Burger as a Hampton Landmark!!
Paul Smith is still the owner & is run by the family, Susan & Steve. They invite you to stop by & enjoy some of the best food & great service that you will ever find in the area. |
